Willis Tang is a first year student at the University of Southern California with a major in Human Biology and minor in Health Care Studies. Outside of school, he enjoys teaching at elementary schools through USC’s Joint Education Program and volunteering at a nearby hospital. He has previous research experience at the Keck School of Medicine and Lab Launch, where he studied cancer-derived hepatocytes and stem cells respectively. Willis is extremely passionate about global medicine and has traveled to places such as Ensenada and Costa Rica as a clinical volunteer. In his free time, Willis enjoys playing the drums, spending time with family, and exploring the mosaic of culinary options in the LA area.
